AirAsia Adds Bangkok to Trang Flight.
Thai AirAsia has announced regular flights between Bangkok and Trang commencing in the middle of January.
Currently Nok Air operates two flights a day on this route and Orient Thai has one daily flight.
Tourism in the southern area of Trang, a southern province on the Andaman cost line, continues to struggle with low demand.
AirAsia flights will depart from Bangkok at 9.20am and arrive in Trang at 10.40am. The flight will then leave Trang at 11.25am and arrive in Bangkok at 12.45pm.
This is the 11th destination the airline will fly to. The company has targets to carry 7 million passengers in the year 2012 and to increase their revenue to 15 billion baht. Next year it plans to carry 10.5 million passengers.
