Firefly to Samui
Firefly, the Malaysian budget airline, is planning on increasing its number of flights to Samui despite the troubles that have been experienced in recent months.
Due to start in October the airline said there had been no effect on the number of travelers from KL to Samui and most weekends flights are full. Most people realize the troubles have been centered in Bangkok and are happy to come to island destinations.
Flights will increase from 4 to 7 a week. Firefly is a subsidiary of Malaysian Airlines and also flies from Penang, Malaysia to Phuket.
