THAI Airways Announce Summer Schedule 2011
Thai Airways International have announced its flight schedules for the Summer Schedule 2011, to be effective from March 27 - October 29, 2011.
THAI President, Mr. Piyasvasti Amranand, said that THAI adjusted its flight schedules to meet traffic demand in the Summer, as follows:
1. Re - routing and Flight Frequency Adjustment
- Flight TG485 / 486 Bangkok - Perth - Phuket - Bangkok to operate as Bangkok - Phuket - Perth vv. from 3 to 4 flights/week, utilizing Airbus A330 - 300, as of April 16
- Bangkok - Perth v.v., from 4 to 3 flights/week, utilizing Airbus A330 - 300
2. Increased Flight Frequency
European Routes
- Bangkok - Milan v.v., from 3 to 4 flights/week, utilizing Boeing 777 - 200ER, as of May 16
Australian and New Zealand Routes
- Bangkok - Brisbane v.v., from 5 to daily flights/week, utilizing Boeing 777 - 300 and Boeing 777 - 200ER, as of April 16
- Bangkok - Auckland v.v., from 5 to daily flights/week, utilizing Boeing 777 - 200ER, as of July 17
Regional Routes
- Introduction of TG435/436 Bangkok - Jakarta v.v. 3 flights/week with Airbus A330 - 300
- Flight TG643 routed Narita - Bangkok from 3 to 5 flights/week, utilizing Boeing 777 - 200
- Flight TG603 routed Hong Kong - Bangkok from 2 to daily flights/week, utilizing Airbus A330 - 300, as of May 19
- Flight TG652 routed Bangkok - Hong Kong from 2 to 4 flights/week, utilizing Airbus A330 - 300 during May 19 - June 30 which will operate daily as of July 1
- Flight TG638 routed Phuket - Hong Kong from 5 to daily flights/week, utilizing Airbus A330 - 300, effective May 19
- Flight TG609 routed Hong Kong - Phuket from 5 to daily flights/week, utilizing Airbus A330 - 300, effective May 19
- Flight TG419/420 Bangkok - Kuala Lumpur v.v. from 4 to 5 flights/week, utilizing Airbus A300 - 600
- Flight TG339/340 Bangkok - Mumbai v.v. from 4 to 5 flights/week, utilizing Airbus A330 - 300 and A300 - 600, as of May 1
- Flight TG8820/8821 routed Bangkok - Gaya - Varanasi - Bangkok will be resumed 4 flights/week, utilizing Boeing 737 - 400, as of October 1
Domestic Routes
- Flight TG245/246 routed Bangkok - Krabi v.v. will operate daily flights/week but will operate 2 flights per week during May 19 - September 30
3. Flight Frequency Adjustment
European Routes
- Flight TG954/955 routed Bangkok - Oslo v.v. will operate 5 flights/week, utilizing Boeing 777 - 200ER
- Flight TG974/975 routed Bangkok - Moscow v.v. will operate 3 flights/week, utilizing Boeing B777 - 300
