Phuket Home Rental

Phuket Airport

Phuket is now one of the best places in the world to rent a new home. Phuket home rental agents are plentiful and offer a variety of houses from small one-bedroom apartments to luxurious 5-bedroom villas with infinity pools and breathtaking sea views.

North Phuket

To the north of Patong, away from the hustle and bustle of the bars, is Kamala Beach with its quiet beach and small restaurants. Kamala is fast becoming an up and coming area, with large developments emerging, such as MontAzure offering luxury apartments to live, rent or hotel stays.

Further North is Surin Beach, with a number of nearby exclusive resorts including Amanpuri, The Surin and the opulent Twinpalms hotel. Bang Tao Beach is next to this area and here home s can be rented for considerably less and you can live in a much more Thai environment - visiting the local markets for some fresh fish and enjoying the relatively deserted 8km stretch of beach.

As you head further north from here, prices increase (most reaching European standards), as does the level of luxury. Several 'A' list celebrities are known to own and rent homes here, reflecting the level of elegance of the properties.

South Phuket

To the south, Phuket home rental is also possible and again, there is a more traditional Thai feeling some of the more expat areas in the north. Chalong does not have any beach to speak of and is very much cheaper, however, it does have a very pretty bay dotted with the many yachts and boats coming in and out.

A 2-bedroom furnished home can be rented for as little as 20,000 Baht a month, and further south in areas such as Rawai with its fantastic fresh fish restaurants along the beach and Nai Harn, probably one of the nicest beaches on the island have a little more character.

West Phuket

On the west coast Kata attracts more tourists but also has some great homes near the long stretch of beach and is close to all the essential commodities. Karon has its own centre for nightlife and restaurants offering the usual tasty mix of Thai and European food.

As one of the largest islands in Thailand, having a rental home in Phuket is very attractive for the diversity of areas one can live in and the different price ranges available. You will never be far away from modern amenities such as the JungCeylon and Central shopping centres.

Nightlife is mainly centred around Patong, although Phuket Town has a great variety of cocktail bars and small live music venues. The west coast is well known for its swanky beach clubs and laid-back bars and the south also has some good bars and restaurants too and a real healthy eating café vibe.
